İnkılap Kitabevi The River Burning Inside Me

Product description

This book is written for susans with its story. It is dedicated to all children who are not loved, who have suffered, who have not expressed their pain, who could not explain, and who have not been understood. In her book where she narrates her life full of sorrows and traumatic events, deniz briefly touched on the story of this trio, namely yeter, her first love, and her husband nile, and leyla, the fabric of her late mother.

“it was always unfair for the one who tells the story to judge the one who doesn't tell it. Only the stories told were known, the stories of the susans remained a secret.

"if only they could express the darkest sides of their life stories themselves... with the book ""they put me in the sea"", which was met with intense interest, demet cengiz, who revealed all the ignored and belittled pains such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, and severe poverty, describes the unknown aspects of the characters who broke away from their first novel, the secrets they left behind locked doors, and their striking life stories in ""the river burning within me"", all in a very impressive language."

“some families are not even broken because anything must be solid before it can be broken.

How can something that was never together before come apart? "the magical pen of demet cengiz brings to life the ""disaffection"" themed life story of yeter, who struggles for existence in the poverty-smelling alleys of ayazağa, and nile, who was born into a large family torn apart by emotional walls." He draws attention to the fact that sometimes the glorified 'family' institution is the beginning of its destruction.
