Odd thing is i was always flying up and over not on a straight line. From my eyes, the planets and the sun had completely disappeared.” şehbenderzade filibeli ahmet hilmi, one of the leading metaphysicists of his period, is among the writers who wrote their works with a metaphysical understanding that advocated against materialism. A'mâk-ı hayal (the depths of fantasy), which is seen as the masterpiece of the thinker who believed in the philosophy of unity of body, which advocates that the creator and the created are one and the same, is also the first example of a fantastic and philosophical novel in turkish. After all the knowledge he has learned, raci meets a father with a mirror in a cemetery, who will restrain his doubts that he has started to hear about the truth to some extent. Raci, who gets answers from scholars that he cannot get from them, meets with him every day, and in each meeting, he embarks on journeys deep into the imagination that transcend the limits of reality. Some of the stops of these journeys will be merih with the ka mountain

their companions will be simurg and the phoenix, buddha and zoroaster, they will guide raci's search for truth. The a'mak-i hayal, composed of mythological, mystical and surrealistic adventures in which filibeli ahmet hilmi makes his faith and ideas felt in every line, is one of the most unusual and important works of the mystical literature.
