” – michael joseph"metropolis. That big, that beautiful, that harsh city.

"Thea von harbou, one of the most powerful pens of german conservatism. The foundation of the vast visual universe they created with the legendary director fritz lang, who was once a life partner, lies in his own unique imagination. From the dawn of the last century to the present day, metropolis, a unique novel by teknikz, pays homage to the dawn of the age of artificial intelligence and automation. it's a timeless masterpiece that explores the tyranny of technology, the manipulation of the masses, and class conflict.

Life in metropolis, the magnificent city of the future, is trapped in a sharp and ruthless vertical hierarchy.

Above, a dazzling world ruled by the city's lord, joh fredersen, from his new babylon tower, and the sons club, where the elite live in hedonistic splendor.Below, deep in the ground, the army of nameless workers who are crushed between the gears of the giant machines to keep the city alive, longing for the sun.

However, when fredersen's son freder encounters maria, the guardian angel of the workers, the foundations of this ruthless tyranny begin to shake.

because the so-called paradise built by his father is not more than a hunchback rising on the back of those who have experienced hell.As the chasm between two worlds deepens, a cold metal, taking the form of a human, awakens in the laboratory of the ambitious inventor rotwang: "machine-man", the harbinger of chaos and destruction.

Now, humanity has to face its own destiny between the noise of the rebellion and the steel.

Metropolis: humanity's greatest achievement, and its deepest abyss.
