İthaki Yayınları Prophet

Product description

Esau and jacob. Their lives are recorded in the history of the near east and in the scriptures, twins. Did they go against god's will with the competition between them? Or was this competition part of god's plan? Okan cil narrates the power struggle of these two brothers, which begins in the womb and extends to prophethood, in his fourth novel, prophet, in an effective and realistic way. He presents the reader with the records that have fallen to be able to become a family thousands of years ago, to the equality in the love of children, to the lies, to the vast anger, to forgiveness, to friendship and sacrifices made in the name of love. “keep your pain alive if you lose in any way, esav. All the people you meet on your way should understand the cruelty you exhibit just by looking at your face. If you lose in any way, you lose so much that no one on earth can reach your rank. Let the adventure be told from language to language even after centuries. If you lose in any way, let the lamentations that slander you cover the mess. Curses to those who don't even see the shadow. If you lose in every way, if you're going to lose anyway, don't hold your head above the ground for your whole life. Spread the word, my friend. To all the deceived people in the world, to all the destitute, to all the children who are not loved in the world, let them call esav.”
