Jbc Yayıncılık V for Vendetta

Product description

Remember, remember the fifth of november... v for vendetta, which is recognized as one of the greatest achievements of comic art, operates in a frighteningly realistic, totalitist world and highlights the concepts of freedom and identity loss, stands out as a landmark in the careers of alan moore and david lloyd. In a imaginary future, in a britain that has succumbed to fascism, this groundbreaking story reveals the suffocating nature of an authoritative police state and the liberating power of the human spirit that rebels against it.

tackled with stunning clarity and wit, this story sharply handles oppression and resistance, while offering a unique depth of character and a sense of reality. "this volume collects the original ten-number series of dc comics in its entirety, including the ""transition"" pages that appear between each issue and are colored by david lloyd." "in addition, along with the forewords written by lloyd and moore for the series, the ""behind the painted smile"" section that explains moore's creative process in detail and lloyd's expanded sketchbook are included in this volume."
