Water is boiled well, coffee (coarse grind) is added, left to boil for 10-12 minutes, allowed to rest for two minutes after boiling, cardamom and saffron are added as desired. For best results, use a coarse grind, boil the coffee for 10 to 12 minutes, then let it rest for two minutes before serving, with the option of adding cardamom and saffron as desired for a richer flavor.
