Kronik Kitap Batu

Product description

Genghis khan's heirloom in the westalthough the invincible mongolian myth begins with genghis, batu comes to the forefront of those who reinforce this. In fact, among those who were descended from genghis khan, he was the one who actually inherited his military abilities. Indeed, no one, including genghis's sons, had taken the mongol bricks as far as he did, and no one had defeated such a variety of enemies in a single campaign as he did.

no commander had ever destroyed an army with a king at its head who defended his country from almost seven thousand miles from its center.

all of this one person managed to do: batu.

moreover, in mongolian history, it would be batu who would emerge as a power focus outside the center and adopt it to the center, thus changing the idea of the mongol empire at the time of genghis khan, causing a structural change in the state.

Batu, who has crossed the thin line between life and death, victory and destruction many times, was invited to the throne of his grandfather by many people from genghis's family in 1248, but by rejecting this and declaring möngke as the khan, it surprises most people today, just like that day.

just like it was about the time when he ended the european expedition, when he had no power left to resist.

In this work, altay tayfun özcan not only presents the life adventure of batu, who was one of the best commanders in mongolian history, but also read the politics of the period in the best way and established a tremendous superiority in every square of the diplomatic chess within the dynasty.

At the same time, it analyzes the power relations that developed with enmity and friendships among those who descended from genghis khan within the mongol empire, which we are accustomed to see as a single whole, thus showing the other side of the mongol empire medallion.
