Loctite 401 SURFACE INSENSITIVE Instant Adhesive, Low/Medium Viscosity, transparent, surface insensitive, one-part, room temperature cure, instant adhesive.

Designed for OEM assembly of difficult-to-bond materials requiring uniform stress distribution.

Suitable for bonding a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, and flexible rubber.

Ideal for close-fitting applications.

It resists temperatures up to 120°C for fast bonding between rubber, plastic, and metal, and for porous surfaces like wood, paper, leather, cork, and fabric.

Also suitable for polyolefins with Loctite 770 or 7239 primer, and perfectly for porous and/or acidic surfaces.

Applications include: Abrasive tips for metal machine tools, stainless steel cutlery to carbon fiber, glass-filled polyurethane to steel (firearm assembly), aluminum pads to rubber, PVC plastic stairs to EPDM rubber (device controllers), urethane foam rubber to painted steel (handles), paper to PVC plastic (packaging materials), ABS to PVC plastic (vacuum cleaners), acrylic to PVC plastic (plastic fence), braided sleeve to rubber, synthetic rubber hoses to ABS, equipment cover legs.
