Product description

Publishing house metis publications author feride çiçekoğlu barcode 9786053161561 print number 1. Number of printed pages 192 binding status paperback after the books city (2007) and city's appeal (2015), the fundamental questions of the rebel city, which were written in thematic continuity with them, are: how can we understand the relationship between the spirit of time and feminine subjectivity? How did the fact that women became the heroines of their own stories, despite all the pressure on them, “go out into the city”, reflect in some films made after the resistance to the excursion, what changed? Or when going out of town is not a solution, how do women question their situations when they are stuck in the city, in houses? How can we consider the crisis of masculinity together with the rebellion of women? "for feride çiçekoğlu's book, she says: ""like the previous two books, the rebel city also progresses by intertwining my own stories about istanbul's places with texts looking at the films from the outside." . . When i write the script of a movie, it reminds me of the place and time, or the perspective that changes when i change the camera's position during filming. Different faces of the same characters, completely different stories left over from lives that flow side by side but without touching each other. Finally, i can look at a lifetime journey with another eye that can also finish this trilogy.” this product is listed with netart media integration packages.
