Metis Yayıncılık Psychoanalysis and after

Product description

The exploration of the emotional world behind human visible behaviors undoubtedly did not start with freud. However, in terms of understanding oneself, freud was the one who laid the groundwork for psychoanalytic thought, which started efforts in very ancient times of history, gained a new quality and speed at the beginning of the twentieth century, and continues to be effective even today.

During the twentieth century, various ecologies have emerged, moving from psychoanalysis

These ecologists discussed the psychoanalytic theory, they debated, they introduced new understanding styles - if we can talk about it today after a psychoanalysis, we owe it to the people who were able to bring such lively debate to life. In other words, psychoanalysis begins with freud, but it doesn't end with him.

Therefore, we believe that this book of engin geçtan, which lays the continuity of many later theories, especially adler, jung, rank, horney and sullivan, with the starting points and foundations laid by freud, carries a fundamental introductory quality, written very beautifully and understandably. Moreover, today's turkish reader is much luckier than in 1988, when psychoanalysis and beyond were first published

many fundamental works of psychoanalysis, which were not yet in turkish at that time, have translations today.

this introduction, this exciting reading and research with them to maintain.
