Isbn: 9786055092153 Author: faik baysal The balkans and the turks were inseparable like nails in meat. The turks shed their blood for those lands, and those lands mourned for the turks.

for the turks living in the balkans, the drina was homeland soil. Before the strong winds of world war ii blew people away and uprooted them, the turks walking the streets of drina did not know that they would come and suffer hellish torment on those streets.

by that day, they were no longer wanted on the land where they had lived peacefully.

although the german administration that ruled in pre-tito yugoslavia seemed close to them, the turks were no longer safe in their homeland, that is, in the territory of yugoslavia.

the carnage and rape of the turks by the gangs that had kept the balkan as a province were also intensifying.

they had no choice but to run for their lives to save their lives.

their only consolation was the hope that one day they would return to these lands to which they had been forced to emigrate.
