Always change both bulbs at the same time. Xenon bulbs change color and weaken in light intensity over time, so changing only one side will lead to a clear difference in color and light intensity between the two sides. Avoid touching the glass capsule of the bulb with bare hands. Oils on the skin can concentrate heat at that point and lead to glass breakage or reduced bulb life. If accidentally touched, clean it with an alcohol swab before installation. Ensure proper cooling: Make sure to tightly close the dust caps in the headlights to prevent moisture entry, which could damage the bulb or ballast.
