Paloma Yayınevi Boomerang Texts

Product description

The bumerang metinler was published in may 2021 under the paloma publishing label. From bora ercan, renowned for her books on travel literature and eastern philosophy, comes an interdisciplinary experimental work. this book features sixty-three essays that are a reckoning with humanity, history, the state, and faith.

the texts progress by being intertwined with some sarcastic and some quarrelsome language. In the texts, linguistic games, sound and image associations, images woven with concepts that are not often encountered in our literature, come and go like a boomerang from the esoteric world to the material world. A boomerang isn't just a toy

it's a weapon, and like any weapon, it's double-edged. it has the potential to injure or kill both the target and the thrower. While the metinler boomerangs poison, it also provides relief to the reader by inviting him to a whimless catharsis ceremony.
