You can melt the Fusible Glycerin Soap Base in a bain-marie pot, microwave oven or electric stove on a low setting
The aim here is to melt the soap slowly, slowly over low heat
No matter how low the gas stove is, you will not get a smooth melting as high heat will be generated where the flame touches
Fusible Glycerin Soap Base melts at 60° C, no need for higher heat
When melting glycerin soap, make sure that the lid of your container is closed
Glycerin soap that loses water while melting will sweat later
Once melted, the Meltable Glycerin Soap Base can be colored with food coloring
We recommend water-based liquid food coloring for beginners
You can color a large amount of soap with a drop or two of liquid food coloring available in dropper bottles
