Our cup is made of medical-grade silicone and is designed to be inserted to collect up to 20 ml of blood without leakage.
On average, we remove about 20 ml per day, but always remember the rule of thumb with any period products: check every 4-5 hours.

Instructions: When to wash? During your cycle, you can simply wash the menstrual cup with water and a mild, unscented soap.
However, when first inserting it at the beginning of the next cycle, you should sterilize the cup.
