Product description

Emifenac 50 mg soluble tablets for relief of pain and swelling associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, neck pain, ankylosing spondylitis, back pain and dental pain.

A strong fever reducer that may help treat various painful conditions.

Active ingredient: diclofenac.

Drug class: analgesics and anti-inflammatories.

Pack size: 20 soluble tablets.

Uses include treatment of arthritis, tendon and muscle inflammation, acute gout attacks, post-operative pain and swelling, osteoarthritis, sprains, dysmenorrhea, acute migraine, and acute pain.

Dosage examples: adults with rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis — 50 mg every 8 hours or 75 mg every 12 hours

dysmenorrhea — 100 mg once then 50 mg as needed

acute pain — 100 mg once then 50 mg as needed

migraine — 50 mg dissolved in 30–60 ml of water and taken immediately

children 12 years and older — 25 mg as needed.

Elderly should use with caution due to increased risk of kidney and liver impairment

doctors typically start with lower doses and monitor kidney and liver function.

Warnings: inform your doctor before use if you have liver or kidney problems, blood clots or angina, high cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes, if you smoke, systemic inflammatory or cardiovascular conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, or high blood pressure.

Possible side effects: skin rash, difficulty breathing or chest pain, speech difficulties, swelling of parts of the face or mouth, and abdominal pain.
