How to use 1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and dry them. 2. Select a new needle from the package. 3. Insert the needle into the lancet device—or into the insulin pen if using one. 4. Set the puncture depth to 6 mm, depending on the thickness and acceptable pain. 5. Place the tip on your finger and press the button to obtain sufficient blood. 6. Place the sample on the test strip in the glucose meter and wait for the result. 7. Dispose of the needle after a single use in a sharps container.
