Dear valued customer, thank you for your business. Yes, the K-1028E universal remote is compatible with most split air conditioning units available on the market. Since this is a "universal" device, it functions by entering a specific code that matches your air conditioning brand. How to set it up: Locate the code: The remote comes with a small manual containing a list of codes for various brands. You can search for "Sky Star" in this manual to find the designated code. Programming steps: Turn on your air conditioning unit manually. Press and hold the "Set" button on the remote for approximately 3 seconds until the brand code (a 3-digit number) begins to flash on the screen. Use the Temp up or down buttons to select the correct code. Once the code stops flashing and the air conditioner responds (typically by emitting a "beep" or turning on the unit), press the "Ok" button to lock in the setting. Important Notes: If you cannot find "Sky Star" in the provided list, you can use the "Automatic Search" function built into the device.
