Product description
Profenal syrup is used to relieve mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, muscle and back pain, and menstrual pain), to reduce fever, and to relieve pain and inflammation in cases of arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis.
Do not take Profenal syrup if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredients of this medicine.
If you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other painkillers.
If you have previously experienced gastrointestinal bleeding after taking non-steroidal drugs.
If you suffer from ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding or have had at least two episodes in the past.
If you suffer from severe liver, kidney, or heart problems.
If you suffer from severe dehydration.
If you have any active bleeding.
If you have conditions that increase the risk of bleeding.
If you are in the last three months of pregnancy.
Warnings and precautions for using Profenal syrup: Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including: If you suffer from chronic inflammatory gastrointestinal problems such as ulcerative or Crohn's disease or others.
If you suffer from Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).
If you have problems with your blood cells.
If you have blood clotting problems.
If you suffer from high blood pressure or heart problems.
If you suffer from liver or kidney problems.
If you suffer from or other conditions where breathing is difficult.
Profenal syrup and other similar medicines may cause gastrointestinal ulcers and bleeding, which can be serious.
Ibuprofen and other similar medicines are associated with a slight increase in the risk of heart attacks and strokes, especially when used in high doses for a long time.
Serious side effects: gastrointestinal bleeding and ulcers, kidney problems, serious skin reactions.
Other medicines and Profenal syrup: Tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking.
Ibuprofen interacts with many drugs, including: other non-steroidal drugs, anticoagulants and antiplatelets, diuretics, lithium, digoxin, steroids, methotrexate, immunosuppressants, some antibiotics, medicines used to treat depression, sulfonylureas, fluconazole and voriconazole, some antiviral drugs, Ginkgo Biloba (herbal product).
How to take Profenal syrup: Take this medicine as directed by your doctor.
The suspension is for children from 3 months of age and weighing more than 5 kg.
Take the medicine with or after food.
The dose for children depends on the child's weight.
It ranges from 5-15 ml, 3 times a day.
How to store Profenal syrup: Store at room temperature from 68 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 25 degrees Celsius).
Dispose of the suspension within three months of opening.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiration date mentioned on the package.
