Grandpa's dream &quot

Dostoevsky said: &quot

My only concern when i wrote this first novel in siberia after the prison was to resume my literary life, and i was very afraid of censorship, so the panic came like a dove, innocent of complete innocence that could be made into a comic play. &quot

. Thus, the novel of the grandfather's dream, as if dostoevsky wanted to get away from the depiction of the state of poverty, misery and good souls by depicting the life of the russian aristocracy in a comic way.

the basic character: &quot

Uncle &quot

, is a russian aristocrat fascinated by the west who knows western europe more than russia, and wants to marry a french countess.

a group of russian aristocratic women realize the prince's passion, a competition is held as to which of them will marry him to her daughter and the most lady in the city rivals suddenly decides to marry the prince to her beautiful girl zina.

the girl acquiesces to her mother's wishes and is captivated by her singing a french song while playing the piano.

when dostoevsky portrayed this character, he presented the reader with a caricature of a decadent aristocrat fascinated by western love.

and you will see an analog of this caricature, with even more caustic irony, in the novel &quot

Demons &quot

he is the only psychologist i have ever learned from, and i consider his existence to be one of the sweetest strokes of luck in my life.
