Seek Thermal Revealpro – Ruggedized, High Resolution Thermal Imaging Camera

Dear Customer, Thank you for your interest in the Seek Thermal Revealpro – Ruggedized, High Resolution Thermal Imaging Camera. Please note that this device is designed primarily for surface-level thermal imaging applications such as electrical inspections, building diagnostics, HVAC troubleshooting, and outdoor use. It detects heat signatures and temperature differences on visible surfaces but does not have the capability to detect minerals underground or through soil, rock, or other opaque materials. If you're looking for equipment suitable for geological or subsurface exploration, we recommend consulting specialized geophysical instruments such as ground-penetrating radar (GPR) or electromagnetic sensors. We hope this clarifies your question. Please feel free to reach out if you need assistance selecting the right tool for your application. Best regards,

Yes, the Seek Thermal Revealpro – RQ-AAA is capable of detecting and photographing thermal objects and animals from a distance. It features a high-resolution thermal sensor (320 × 240) and can detect large heat sources—such as humans or animals—up to approximately 152 meters (500 feet) away. The device includes digital zoom to enhance distant viewing, though image clarity may decrease at higher zoom levels. It is well-suited for outdoor use, including wildlife observation, security, and nighttime monitoring.
