Sia Kitap The Secret Guests

Product description

Ii. At the beginning of world war ii, german bombers were targeting london one after another, and families were sending their children to the north of the country and rural areas to ensure their safety. The royal family also decides to send their daughters elizabeth and margaret to a safe zone with the help of intelligence agencies. However, this safe haven will surprisingly become an old mansion in ireland, where independence has been surprisingly achieved closer to them. One english and one irish, two police officers are now tasked with keeping an eye on the royal princesses, who will be referred to as “ellen” and “mary”.

the calm and pastoral environment of the irish countryside at the beginning begins to change with the proliferation of rumors about the true identities of these hidden guests.

the task, which seems simple and domestic, with both girls and those responsible for protecting them not complying with the initially established rules, will turn into a surprise bloody adventure by taking the form of a comedy of inaccuracies. "the ""secret guests"" by irish master writer john banville is a fun detective story about the indirect consequences of the tension between ireland and england, and the worldliness of the british royal family."
