smart dist The Party's Orphans

Product description

Orphans of the Ceremony: Is it the biography of a writer whose dreams were too big for offices, so he spent thirty years moving between jobs searching for salvation, or the biography of a generation of government employees? Is work an end or a means? Fuel for life or a graveyard for the self and imagination? 'Orphans of the Ceremony' is a journey through memory where a job becomes a determinant of a person's worth and dreams, and a journey into the worlds of narration where literature becomes humanity's only means to lighten the burden of memory, and sarcasm the writer's weapon to shatter his image in the mirror.

But as he takes us from one job to another, he does not trap us in the pitfalls of a one-sided vision, sarcastic of the self and the other, but rather transforms those events into balconies from which the eye of a nation rising in education, rights, and various levels of life looks out, and that is the paradox.

Does a writer who lived what Ahmed Amiri lived have the right to demand his 'right to laziness'?
