Product description

Scientific name: Desloratadine 5 mg tablets.

Medical uses of Neurin tablets: Desloratadine relieves symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by allergies or dust mite allergy) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.

These symptoms include sneezing, runny nose or itchy nose, and itchy, red, or watery eyes.

Desloratadine is also used to relieve symptoms of rash (a skin condition caused by allergies).

These symptoms include itching and skin redness.

Relief of these symptoms lasts for a full day and helps you resume your normal daily activities and sleep.

How to use Neurin tablets: Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: The ed dose is one tablet once a day with water, with or without food.

This medicine is for oral use.

Swallow the tablet whole.

Doses may be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.

If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital immediately.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is time for your next dose.

Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a forgotten dose.

Side effects of Neurin tablets: fatigue, dry mouth, headache, severe allergic reactions, irregular heartbeat, stomach pain, feeling nauseous (nausea), vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, inability to sleep, muscle pain, hallucinations, seizures, insomnia with increased body movement, hepatitis, elevated liver enzyme levels.

Use of Neurin tablets during pregnancy and lactation: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Warnings and precautions while using Neurin tablets: Do not use the tablets if you are allergic to desloratadine, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse before taking desloratadine: if you have impaired kidney function, if you have a medical or family history of seizures.

There are no known interactions of desloratadine with other medicines.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines.

How to store Neurin tablets: Store below 25 degrees Celsius.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Store in the original carton to protect it from moisture.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton/strips/label.

The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
