The Swatch Gent BLUE BEN was created to match the popular London landmark Elizabeth Tower (formerly Clock Tower, commonly known as Big Ben after the tower's largest bell).

The dial is based on the dial of the tower clock, which was developed by Sir George Airy and Edmund Denison and manufactured by the watchmaker Edward John Dent.

The plastic case, the dial and the silicone strap with pin buckle are dark blue.
