CUCKOOLUS is an extraordinary Swatch New Gent Special designed by the German artist Tobias Rehberger.

From June 12, 2016, art will be making its way along a new pedestrian path between the Fondation Beyeler in Riehen near Basel and the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein, Germany, which is presented by Swatch.

There are 24 of the artist's objects along the 5-kilometer-long path, each of the colorful signposts inviting people to linger and reflect.

People should take the time to enjoy a unique living collage of sculptures, colors and landscapes.

Grenzenlos, the watch itself, is made entirely in black, with orange accents.

Unfortunately, the cuckoo sound no longer sounds when you open the packaging, as the battery responsible for it is now empty.

There are two hands of the same size on the dial, so the wearer always has to think about which of the two possible times of day it is.

The Swatch Art Special is available in a limited edition of 4,962 pieces, one for each meter of the route.

The cuckoo clock look is underlined by the tree trunk shape of the special packaging.
