The contemporary Chinese artist duo Birdhead (Ji Weiyu and Song Tao) created this fascinating watch exclusively for the Swatch & Art initiative.

The numbered special is limited to 1888 pieces worldwide.

Birdhead uses photography as a medium to explore and document the passage of time.

This is also what characterizes the design, which shows the striking image of a flying bird, which was created from enlarged silver salt particles.

In addition, part of the Chinese characters for spring, summer, autumn and winter can be seen.

With the special packaging, it forms a total work of art inspired by modern everyday life and the "meaning of time".

The waterproof watch is equipped with a precise ETA quartz movement, a double date and a rubber strap with a pin buckle.
