Product description
The design of the Swatch New Gent Special SPOT THE DOT by Alessandro Mendini is reminiscent of Swatch's second club special: Lots of Dots (GZ121).
Both watches were designed by the same artist.
After Mendini was responsible for the look of some Swatch watches and specials in the late 80s and early 90s, it is very nice to see that the circle has now been closed and another watch has been created in 2015. The transparent case and buckle are made of plastic.
The colorfully dotted silicone strap matches the colored movement components that you can see through the transparent dial perfectly.
The cardboard slipcase that is placed over the plastic box is also dotted.
