SwimSecure Orange Swimming Float - Tow Float

This inflatable buoy is perfect for ensuring your safety and increasing your visibility when swimming in open water. The inflatable buoy comes in bright orange colors to make you more easily noticed by other water users. The buoy, which is pulled behind during swimming, attached to the waist belt and a short leash, swims in the water at a distance that does not reach the arms and the area of the foot kick. The ultra-lightweight Tow Float generates near zero drag and features two inflation chambers for added safety in the unlikely event of a compartment failure during use. Its efficient size and minimal drag make the Tow Float perfect for endurance races where every bit of buoyancy counts. The tow float is made of high-quality and durable PVC, and includes an adjustable leash and waist strap. Use the back side of the valve cap to vent the air. Please note this is not a swimming aid, it does not provide any buoyancy when swimming. The swim buoy floats behind the swimmer with the help of a short tether.

A swim buoy helps reduce the risk of drowning by providing a place to hold on and rest during high-risk moments like cramping or fatigue. It also improves visibility to boats, further mitigating the danger of drowning. But [swimming float] is not a life jacket; it does not completely guarantee to keep the individual afloat.
