Derma T Lotion Clindamycin Hydrochloride Sterile Solution.

Why Clindamycin Hydrochloride is used: It contains Clindamycin Hydrochloride, an antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections.

Do not use Clindamycin Hydrochloride: Do not use Derma T Topical Lotion if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Clindamycin, Lincomycin, or any other ingredients in this medicine.

Warnings and Precautions: Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Derma T Lotion Solution if: you have or usually get when taking antibiotics, or have ever had stomach or bowel problems.

If you experience severe, prolonged, or bloody during or after using Clindamycin, tell your doctor immediately as treatment may need to be interrupted.

This could be a sign of enteritis (pseudomembranous ) which can occur after antibiotic treatment.

If you have kidney or liver problems.

If you have , , or hay fever.

If you have any severe skin reactions or hypersensitivity to Clindamycin.

Possible Side Effects: Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience throat tightness, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing.

Stop using Derma T Topical Lotion if you experience hives or itching on the face or body.

Other medicines and Clindamycin Hydrochloride: Tell your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines: muscle relaxants used in operations (neuromuscular blockers).

Birth control pills.

You should use additional contraception such as condoms while taking Clindamycin Topical Lotion and for seven days after taking Clindamycin.

Warfarin or similar medicines - used to thin the blood.

You may be more prone to bleeding.

Your doctor may need to perform regular blood tests to check how well your blood clots.

CYP3A4 or CYP3A5 inducers such as Rifampicin may affect the effectiveness of the medicine.

How to use Clindamycin Hydrochloride: Adults and elderly patients: The ed dose of Derma T Lotion ranges from 150 to 450 mg (1 to 3 capsules) every 6 hours, depending on the severity of the infection.

Children's dose: This medicine is used for children who can swallow capsules.

The ed dose for children is between 12 and 25 mg/kg/day of body weight, divided into six hourly doses, depending on the severity of the infection.

How to store Clindamycin Hydrochloride: Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use capsules after the expiry date printed on the carton and blister labels.

The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Store below 25°C.

Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater or household waste.

Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use.

These measures will help protect the environment.
