    Product description

    A water-free solution containing 0.5% pure Retinol, an ingredient that can reduce the appearance of fine lines, photodamage and overall skin aging. While retinol has been studied extensively, it has been shown to be a skin irritant, and newer technologies mimic the visible effects of retinol without causing skin irritation. For this reason, we generally recommend GranActive Retinoid 2% or GranActive Retinoid 5%. Instead of this formula, water can affect the stability of the retinol. Furthermore, vegetable oils in retinol formulas can stimulate lipid oxidation and can impair the quality of the retinol. This formula does not contain water, silicones, vegetable oils, or alcohol.
