The kit delivers heavy-duty urethane protection with excellent adhesion and coverage (enough to protect a standard pickup truck bed), and the coating is waterproof and flexible once cured while also helping to reduce noise and vibrations. It provides UV resistance, abrasion and stain resistance, and can be tinted to match your vehicle colour (using urethane-compatible toners), increasing versatility and aesthetics in addition to protection. The included applicator gun with regulator ensures even application and controlled texture, while the coating can also be applied by roller or brush for alternative textures.

Begin by cleaning, degreasing and lightly scuffing the surface to remove dirt, rust, and contaminants; if bare metal is present, treating with a suitable etch primer like U-Pol Acid #8 is recommended for optimum adhesion. Add the supplied hardener to the Raptor base to the fill line, shake the mixture thoroughly, and then use the included spray gun to apply in smooth, even passes at the recommended pressure (typically 40–60 psi). Maintain consistent movement to build the desired textured finish, and allow the coating to flash and begin curing between coats. Full cure times vary with temperature and film thickness, but are generally within a few hours for touch-dry and several days for full performance. You can also apply additional coats or use rollers/brushes for specific effects as required.
