Why Diclofenac Sodium is used: Diclofenac sodium is used to treat: Arthritis and bone conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, acute gout, and ankylosing spondylitis.
Back pain.
Muscle strain, joint sprains, sports injuries, and fractures.
Conditions affecting tendons such as tendinitis.
Mild pain.
Do not take Diclofenac Sodium: If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any other components of this medicine.
If you are allergic to non-steroidal drugs, including acetylsalicylic acid.
If you suffer or have suffered in the past from a stomach ulcer or peptic ulcer, or gastrointestinal bleeding.
If you have experienced stomach or bowel problems after taking other non-steroidal drugs.
If you suffer from severe liver or kidney disease.
If you suffer from serious heart problems.
If you have had a stroke or or blood vessel problems.
If you are in the last three months of pregnancy.
Warnings and Precautions: Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including: If you suffer from any stomach or bowel disorders, including ulcerative or Crohn's disease.
If you suffer from kidney or liver problems.
If you have a condition called porphyria.
If you suffer from any blood disorder or bleed easily.
If you suffer from high blood pressure.
If you suffer from , blood clots, or high levels.
If you suffer from heart problems.
If you suffer from .
If you smoke.
If you suffer from systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
This drug may increase the risk of heart and blood vessel problems.
Possible Side Effects: Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash

red, sore, or peeling skin
chest or throat tightness
difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking
unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
The frequency of these side effects is unknown.
Serious Side Effects: Severe chest pain and , sudden weakness and numbness, vision loss, difficulty speaking, abdominal pain with dark stools, allergic reactions.
If you experience any of these symptoms, your doctor or hospital immediately.
Other medications and Diclofenac Sodium: Tell your doctor about all medications you are taking, especially: Other non-steroidal drugs, cortieroids, blood thinners such as warfarin, acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), medications, diuretics (water pills), lithium used for depression, antibiotics, heart and blood pressure medications, phenytoin, methotrexate.
How to take Diclofenac Sodium: Take this medication as directed by your doctor.
Take this medication with or immediately after a meal.
The usual dose is 25-50 mg two or three times daily.
For children over one year, the dose is 1-3 mg/kg/day divided into 2 or 3 doses.
How to store Diclofenac Sodium: Store at room temperature below 77°F (25°C).
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
*The form and method of administration of Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg tablets should be prescribed according to the therapeutic indication and severity of the disease for each patient individually.
