How to Use Weld-Fix 714 CPVC Adhesive: 1. Preparation: Cut the pipe at a 90° angle—remove the burr—and clean off any dirt or oil with a dry cloth. It must be 100% dry. 2. Test Fit: Insert the pipe into the fitting while dry. It should be inserted 1/3 to 2/3 of the way in to ensure the adhesive bonds properly. 3. Application: Apply an even layer of adhesive to the outside of the pipe and the inside of the fitting using a brush. 4. Installation: Install immediately with a 1/4 turn to ensure the adhesive is distributed properly. 5. Setting: Hold for 30 seconds—wipe off any excess with a cloth. 6. Drying time: - You can move it after 15 minutes - Apply full pressure and test after 24 hours
