XStreet Online Shopping Shoe Care and Usage Guide Shoes should be used according to their intended purpose. The sweat absorbed by the shoe evaporates in 24 hours. Therefore, wearing your shoes every other day allows longer use. Shoes should not be kept in damp environments. Shoes must be kept on shoe trees while resting or being stored. Please do not wash products that do not have a "washable" label on them. Shoes should definitely not be washed in the washing machine or by hand. It is recommended to wipe off any dirt or mud on your shoes with a slightly damp cloth while cleaning them. Wet and damp shoes should definitely be kept at room temperature. During drying processes such as heater, sunlight, etc., there may be opening at the glued parts of the shoe, cracking in the leather, stains, and deformation. If there is no statement saying "waterproof feature available" on any type of shoe, it may let in water in rainy and snowy weather. Products with leather soles should not be used in rainy and snowy weather. Otherwise, the leather softens and starts to wear out after a while. Shoes that use synthetic materials in their inner lining are likely to cause odor and take in water. In untreated natural leathers, in light-colored products (mink, gray, blue, green, red, yellow, etc.), darkening may occur in their colors after dyeing and care. Natural leather and synthetic products (suede, nubuck, patent leather, etc.) need to be cleaned and maintained periodically with care products. The care of suede, nubuck, etc. shoes is more delicate than that of smooth leather shoes. Cleaning and care must be done with brushes, erasers, and care products. Silicone-based sprays should not be used. Leather shoes should be polished with dye in their own color and natural polish. Stains that cannot be removed from shoes due to excessive sweating of the foot are not a manufacturing defect. Lace-up shoes should be put on and taken off by untying the laces. Shoes must be worn using a shoehorn. Trying to wear products by hand or by stepping on them causes tearing at the heel, collapse of the counter, stitching coming loose, and deformation in the leather. Depending on the shape of your foot and your gait, wrinkles may occur in the leather. To minimize this, your shoes should be kept on shoe trees suitable for their form and should be polished with their own color or natural polish. Since lined and unlined shoes are made of genuine leather, they do not contain chemical additives that could harm your health, and due to sweating, the color of the leather may transfer to your feet and socks. Therefore, choose a sock color that matches the lining color.
