Product description

"there is no one who has not heard the name ""dede korkut"" in their childhood.

dede korkut, whom we did not know much about or did not learn about at that age, is a turkish ""ancestor"" who is the narrator, compiler, and collector of stories reflecting the traditions, customs, ways of life, and value judgments of the turks.

these stories, which are known to have been written in the 14th and 15th centuries, but are known to be much older, are also called ""epics"".

the simplicity and clarity in the language, the fluency in the narration, have ensured that this work has survived to the present day.

in addition to universal themes such as love for nature, value given to everything human, a unique sensitivity is also embedded in every line of the stories.
