Thanks to the appropriately sized wooden mallet included with the product, producing sound from your gong is quite enjoyable: Gong Method (Striking): Place the gong flat in the palm of your left hand. Hold the wooden mallet in your right hand and strike the outer rim of the gong gently but firmly. Close your eyes and listen as the vibration slowly fades away. Singing (Rotation): Immediately after lightly striking the outer rim with the mallet, press the mallet against the outer lip of the bowl and begin rotating it in a steady clockwise motion. You’ll hear the mesmerizing sound created by the friction. Care: Do not wash your bowl with water or chemicals. Use a dry, soft cloth to remove dust.
