1. Cut a 3/4-inch CPVC pipe and sand the cut end and the pipe. 2. Apply yellow CPVC glue to the inside of the pipe and the elbow. 3. Insert the pipe into the elbow, turn it a quarter turn, and hold for 30 seconds. 4. Let it dry for two hours before turning on the water. 5. Wrap Teflon tape around the 1/2-inch copper thread before installing the mixer. Warning: Use only yellow CPVC glue for hot water. Do not use white PVC glue.
